Panasonic unveils its new conception, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1 which is a great camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was presented in the US on the 29/9/02. This model measures 125 x 70 x 83 mm and is weighting only 354 g. The Lumix DMC-FZ1 can be set to a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. It also supports a lower resolution of 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1 has been set at 4:3, making a total of 2.0 mega pixels. The sensor of the Lumix DMC-FZ1 is a CCD which measures 1/3.2 " having a RGB color filter.
